DESCRIPTION:  \n \nAn opportunity to experience writing\, making or performing a new Mummer’s Play  \nMummer’s plays are traditional\, seasonal\, theatrical extravaganzas. Written in rhyme\, they have heroes\, villains\, doctors\, fools and possibly a horse!  Whichever characters we choose to include\, there will be fights\, deaths\, rebirths and jokes. \nThere are three ways to be involved (you can be involved in as many as these as you would like); \n\n\n\nWRITERS \n\n\n15th November 10.30 – 4.30pm Pegasus Theatre Cafe \n\n\nMAKERS – CREATING MASKS AND HEAD DRESSES \n\n\n29th November 1.30 – 4.30pm Pegasus Theatre \n\n\nPERFORMERS – BRINGING THE TEXT TO LIFE! \n\n\n15th November 2.30 -4.30pm Pegasus Theatre cafe with the writers \n\n\n10th December 7.30- 9.30pm St Margarets Institute \n\n\n12th December 12.30 – 2.30pm Florence Park Community Centre \n\n\nPERFORMANCE: 12th December evening at OPT’s sharing supper night \n\n\n\nPlease email us at oxfordpeoplestheatre@gmail.com to reserve your place on any or all of the above.
