Play Reading
Join us for an online play reading. We’ll read the play, discuss the text and potential ways of staging.
Our first play will be Jack Thorne’s astonishing script After Life . Inspired by Hirokazu Kore-eda’s film After Life, the play imagines a place where people who have died are given the opportunity to choose one memory to take with them into eternity. The play combines humour with moments of tenderness and sadness, creating an emotional experience that invites audiences to reflect on their own lives and the memories they would choose to keep.
Attendees will be able to access a digital copy of the script.
Bookings will close at 5.30pm on the day of the reading, the links will then be emailed to participants to join at 7.00pm.
